Motorola launches his new phones in the G Series lineup. Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 power and Moto G7 play. Moto G Series launched but not in the market yet.
Motorola launch the new G7 Series device at the MWC Brazil. With didn’t get much success in old G6 series, Moto try to come back in the market with the new display and more powered Moto G7 series.
Now let’s get it straight to the devices and see what Moto bring new in these devices to stand up in the market.
First let’s talk about Moto G7.
G7 equipped with the 6.2 inches (approx 81.4% screen to body ratio) dew drop display with full HD resolution of 1080×2270 pixel. The device is protected by Gorilla glass 3 at both front and back which is a bit old but it is strong.
Talking about the hardware G7 come with Snapdragon 636 octa core processor clock in with 1.8GHz along with Adreno 509 GPU which is quite better for gaming like PUBG and Asphalt 9. But come-on Motorola grow up and give us Snapdragon 660 atleast. To support Snapdragon 636 Moto G7 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable upto 512GB with dedicated slot.
Now about the software Moto G7 installed with stock Android 9.0 pie it means you don’t have to struggle with meaningless companies preinstalled apps.
It’s time for the camera now, Moto G7 has dual camera set up at the rear and single selfie shooter. Dual rear camera comes with 12 megapixel primary shooter with f1.8 aperture and 5 megapixel secondary depth sensor with f2.2 aperture and believe me Motorola depth sensor is a pretty good. Rear camera has EIS and can shoot 4K(2160p at 30fps) and 1080p at 30 and 60 FPS.
For the selfie camera Moto G7 equiped with 8 megapixel that shoots video at 1080p at 30fps
About the sensors Moto G7 got rear fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer, Gyro sensor, Proximity and Compass. Fast USB type-C connector which is great. For extra hardwares Moto G7 comes with 3000mAh battery, 4.2 Bluetooth, dual band Wi-Fi, NFC, FM and GPS also.
Now it’s time to come to G7 power and G7 play.
Moto G7 play and Moto G7 power are the entry level device in G7 series
Moto G7 power comes with 6.2 inches (77.6% screen to body ratio) Notch display with resolution of 720×1570 pixel, where Moto G7 play comes with smaller 5.7 inches (77.6% screen to body ratio) Notch display with resolution of 720×1512 pixel. Both protected by Corning Gorilla glass in the front and have the plastic body at the back.
Both devices comes with stock Android 9.0 pie with Snapdragon 632 octa core processor clocking at 1.8 gigahertz along with adreno 506 GPU.
Moto G7 power comes with in two variant 3GB Ram/32GB internal and 4GB ram/64GB internal, on the other side Moto G7 play comes in 2GB RAM and 32GB internal. Both devices support expandable upto 512 GB with dedicated slot.
Now about the camera, Moto G7 power has 12 megapixel rear camera with f2.1 aperture while G7 play equipped with 13 megapixel rear camera with f2.1 aperture. Both can shoot 4K(2160p at 30fps) and 1080p at 30 FPS.

Both G7 Play and G7 Power comes with USB 2.0 type C reversible connector, Singe band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and FM radio. Moto G7 power has come with NFC feature which is missing in the G7 play.
About the battery life Moto G7 power comes with amazing 5000mAh battery, where as Moto G7 play has a normal 3000mAh battery pack. Both devices support fast charging.
And about the sensors they both have all the sensors come as in the Moto G7.
Now the last but not the least Moto G7 Plus.
Moto G7 Plus is the top model of G7 series. Moto G7 plus come with 6.2 inches(81.4% screen to body ratio) dew drop display with 1080×2270 pixel resolution. The phone is protected by Gorilla glass 3 at both front and back.
Moto G7 Plus also comes with stock Android 9.0 pie. Under the hood it consists Snapdragon 636 octa core 1.8GHz processor along with Adreno 509 GPU. To support Snapdragon 636, Moto G7 plus comes with 4GB ram and 64GB inbuilt storage that can be expand up to 512 GB with dedicated slot.
For the camera setup Moto G7 plus has dual rear camera and single selfie shooter. Where rear camera has 16 megapixel primary shooter with f1.7 aperture and 5 megapixel secondary depth sensing lens with f2.2 aperture. Rear camera support up to 4K(2160p at 30fps) and 1080p at 30/60/120fps. The primary 16 megapixel sensor comes with OIS which is not common in the mid range phone.
Now for the selfie camera Moto G7 plus has 12 megapixel shooter with video recording of upto 4K 2160 p at 30fps and 1080 p at 30fps.

Moto G7 series is still coming soon. For the pricing, G7 play and power should around 10000 rupees to 15000 rupees, G7 should around 15000 to 16000 and G7 Plus should around 17000 to 20000 Indian rupees.
